Come out to hear a fun night of pure guitar madness! Other musicians, please bring your instruments and join the fun too! This should be a night of lots of good n’ crazy music; We have some newly arranged 2009 Johan Sebastian Bach, Hendrix, Oasis, Bill Frisell, and Pat Metheny tunes for the evening. It should be a night full of shenanigans!
There is a $5 suggested donation for the provided Starbucks coffee and Fresh Market gourmet cookies (where else can you find a great bargain like this in town; quality music and caffeine+ sugar for $5?) We hope to see you out this Wednesday night for some quality hang n’ play time!
This Thursday is the first House of Blues Jam session of 2009!
Bring out your uplifting 2009 blues (as there have been things too many things to cry the blues about in 2008…..) and take it out on your instrument of choice! If you want to sing a tune, or play some geeeetar, harmonica or bass etc. this is the place to kick it with your Tubescreamer ts-808! The evenings are a blast just to pull out all your licks and double stops! There will be the usual gourmet cookies of and Starbucks for all to enjoy! Come on out and hang, we promise you’ll have a good time!
Do you love life? reflecting on life? hanging? chilling?
Do like good, funky, gritty, kickin’, groovin’, beautiful R&B/Gospel/Ambient/Rock/Jazz/Improvised music topped off being performed by some of Tampa Bay’s most talented musicians?
Praise and Worship night Friday January 23rd, doors open @ 7:30PM
Next Friday featuring singer/keyboardist Mr. “Bishop” John Wilds. Also, the usual suspects: Sam Martinez: bass, Rachel Pullen: bgvs, JT: drums and Peter Mongaya: guitar. If you haven’t heard John Wilds sing yet, you have to come out. This boy can sing!
The nights of Praise and Worship of this past year of 2008 have been a lot of fun, filled with rockin’, beautiful, funky, flowing improvised music and times of reflection o, as well as a good hang and commune a bit.
Sometimes people feel unsure about being part of an event that has any spiritual connotation, thinking it might be either a bible-bashing session or snake-handling session, but we can assure you that these nights are nothing of the sort, and can easily be enjoyed without feeling any pressure or intimidation. If you just like good music come out, you won’t be disappointed!
Everybody is welcome! Please feel free to come and experience this special night with us. Words cannot express, nor the mind comprehend how much we need to continually connect to the One who is and always will be!
God Bless,
