About Worry

As the news keeps bombarding people with doomsday reports and sensationalism about the economy, there naturally is a feeling of uncertainty and apprehension these days. As a result, peoples’ natural inclination is to worry. A scientific study published by a team of psychologists showed that 9 out of 10 things people worry about never come to pass. That means people spend 90% of their time worrying about things that aren’t true and will never happen. Worry sucks, because worry takes your mind out of the present. The present is the place where we can change and influence the things that matter the most to us.

The Remedy?

Rather than wasting 90% of time worrying, let us spend that 90% of time on things we have influence over! Such as spending time with our families, our health, being kind, being present when we are: at home, at work, and anything we put our hands to. Another beautiful thing we have influence over is in the pursuit of music. Music is one thing we can pursue and do something about. Practicing and playing music is one of those simple, powerful things that makes the world a more beautiful and wonderful place to live in! Keep your chin up, keep fighting the good fight! Keep Practicing!

week. Music of Weather Report, Pat Metheny Group, Coltrane, Jeff Beck.
Jaco Pastorius tunes were played. Hard stuff and cool tunes! It was
super sick and awesome!
Every musician in the Tampa Bay area would
come out and hear, jam and be inspired by the level of musicianship
that the Reinhard Bro’s and band brought to the table.

Ron is an
in demand keyboard player who has played with so many musicians that
his resume is a “who’s who” of the r&b/ jazz genre. Some of the
musicians he’s played with over the years include Peter White, Jeff
Golub, Warren Hill, Craig Chaquico, Kirk Whalum, Gerald Albright,
Jonathan Butler, Kim Waters, Steve Oliver, Ricky Lawson, David Sanborn
& Marcus Miller, Steve Cole, Marc Antoine, Oleta Adams, Brenda
Russell, Everett Harp, Paul Jackson Jr., Bobby Lyle, Brian Culbertson,
and Paul Brown. The list goes on. Outside of the smooth jazz genre, Ron
has played with Jeff Berlin, Ira Sullivan, and Nat Adderly.
