MUSICOLOGY SCHOOL OF ROCK 1-WEEK BOOT CAMPS ALL SUMMER 7/12, 7/19, 8/2, 8/9, AND 8/16 (SCHOOL OF JAZZ LAB: 7/26)
Class I: ROCK/FUNK/JAZZ/INDIE/EMO LABS
We are proud to announce that our highly anticipated School of Rock boot camps are running all summer!
School of labs, depending on students music preferences 
In this 1-week intensive vocalists as well as instrumentalists will study and explore what it takes, to play successfully in a band. We’ll present different topics and principles that seasoned professional musician’s all know about, that’ll teach the student how to play more musically and maturely in a band setting. There is no better way to speed up the rate of learning on your instrument than to play with other people. These 1-week labs end with spending a day in the studio talking about the mental game of the recording studio, as well as cutting the group’s best song. Schedule:
M-TH 9.30AM-1PM Friday: 9.30AM-5PM (recording session)
The course ends in a grand finale concert where friends and family are invited Let’s Rock/Funk/Jazz/Indie/Emo!!

Class II Praise and Worship
In this class we’ll explore how to play with excellence in the Praise and Worship setting. Psalms 33:3 says: “Play skillfully ” and in this lab we’ll will show you how! We’ll explore different topics and principles that’ll teach you how to play more musically and maturely in a the Praise and Worship band setting. We’ll also talk about each instruments role and how to “flow”. Entire church bands are very welcome for this class. Bands will perform on our following Praise and Worship night. Church musicians: the church desperately needs better musicians and better musicianship. We as musicians have responsibility to continually work on our craft and give our Out most to His Highest. Stop being a part of the problem!
